Maddox Rd Exterior Renovation
A full exterior transformation featuring new Marine Blue vinyl siding, energy-efficient white double-hung windows, and a rebuilt front entry with new composite steps and cedar-style board-and-batten shutters, part of a larger renovation that also included a new composite deck, screened porch conversion with custom TV wall, and chimney flashing repair.
The Project
The home's original vinyl siding and windows were dated and showing their age, and the homeowners wanted real outdoor living space to go with it: a proper front entry, a usable deck, and eventually a screened porch they could use most of the year instead of a rarely-used side yard.
On-Site Challenge
Once the old siding came off, we found sections of the house that needed additional sheathing beyond what the original scope covered based on the visible gables alone, a common discovery once a wall is actually opened up. We documented it as a clear change order with the homeowner rather than letting it become a surprise on the final invoice.
What We Did
- Full siding removal and replacement with Estate™ vinyl siding in Marine Blue
- New 200-Series white double-hung windows throughout
- A rebuilt front entry with new composite steps
- A screened porch conversion using Eze-Breeze four-track windows and a matching cabana door
- A custom porch TV wall with new electrical
- Chimney flashing repair
